The Agency Habitat / Lowtown Studios Experience

Our paid internship program is dedicated to recognizing and nurturing young talent by offering hands-on opportunities to learn and grow within a supportive environment. Our mission is to provide interns with an introduction to the next generation brand agency, so they gain the real-world skills needed to excel in their careers. As a part of the team, our Studio Production Assistant interns will be immersed in the culture of a dynamic agency from day one and get the opportunity to shadow, learn from, and assist with various day-to-day activities relating to their clients. We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team and gain unique hands-on experience in the world of photography and videography equipment operations, including the physical tasks associated with the job, and support a team of in-house photographers, stylists and videographers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Handling: The primary responsibility of this role is to assist with the handling, maintenance and organization of our extensive inventory of photography and videography equipment, with a special emphasis on video gear. This includes cameras, lenses, lighting, tripods, gimbals and various video accessories.
  • Inventory Management Support: Help maintain an accurate inventory system, including video equipment. This includes checking equipment in and out, tracking its condition and ensuring all items are properly maintained and cleaned between usage.
  • Studio Maintenance: Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the Studio space, ensuring it remains a welcoming and efficient environment for our clients and team members, specifically for those with video production needs.
  • Video Production Assistance: Support the Studio team during video shoots, workshops and events. This may involve setting up video equipment, assisting clients on-site and participating in studio or agency events.
  • Collaboration with In-House Team: Work closely with and support a team of in-house photographers, stylists and videographers in various aspects of their projects and productions.

 

Knowledge and Skill Set Requirements:

  • Must be physically capable of lifting and moving equipment weighing over 50 pounds
  • Enthusiasm for videography and photography
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of videography equipment and video production
  • A positive and proactive attitude

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Senior working toward or have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree ( RTVF, Cinematic Arts, Media Arts, Fine Arts or other relevant fields)
  • Work requirements: Minimum of 20-28 hours per week in our Fort Worth office @ $12/hour
    • Please note, this role may require hours outside of the normal 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. workday, particularly during agency events or special projects. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.

Our Hiring Process

Here’s what to expect from us during our hiring process:
