Design Intern – Fall 2026
The Role:
Our paid internship program is dedicated to recognizing and nurturing young talent by offering hands-on opportunities to learn and grow within a supportive environment. Design interns are immersed in the culture of a dynamic agency from day one — shadowing, learning from, and assisting the creative team with research, concepting, design and layout, content creation, and production for various clients.
We’re looking for design interns who will immerse themselves in the creation and strategy of a project, pairing dynamic design with creative solutions across both digital and traditional spaces.
You’ll report to our Associate Creative Director and/or their appointees.
Brands We Work With:
WHAT YOU’D DO
— Shadow across departments — getting exposure to how every team in the agency thinks and works.
— Be in the room — brainstorming sessions, kickoff meetings, client reviews, presentations, and status calls.
— Design and build — layouts, storyboards, and designs for assigned projects from concept to completion, across digital and traditional media.
— Create email designs in XD — learning the tools and the process end-to-end.
— Support production — assisting in editing, production, and post-production of existing client deliverables.
— Ideate independently and with the team — brainstorming with and without guidance, and presenting during internal creative meetings.
— Show up on set — assisting during photo and video shoots when needed.
— Learn the brief — following creative briefs with budgeted time and deadlines.
WHAT YOUR WEEK ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
— Designing across multiple clients and formats — social, digital, print — sometimes all in the same week
— Sitting in on concepting sessions and contributing ideas from the start
— Building layouts, social graphics, branding, logos and storyboards based on creative briefs
— Collaborating with copywriters, art directors, and account leads to bring work to life
— Assisting in production and post-production on client deliverables
— Attending and presenting in internal creative reviews
— Supporting photo and video shoots when the project calls for it
— Traveling locally when assignments require it
WHO YOU ARE
Should you have mastered everything before coming into an internship? Absolutely not. But to get the
most out of it, here’s what we’re looking for:
— Working toward (or holding) a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Art Direction, Design, Communication Arts, or a related field
— You have a portfolio — an online one, with real creative work in it. This is required.
— Solid proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
— Light animation skills a plus
— Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and time management skills
— Able to conceptualize and brainstorm as part of a team
— Self-motivated with a proactive mindset
— Genuinely curious about new and upcoming developments in design and advertising
— Willing and able to push creative boundaries
— Open-minded, positive, and ready to both defend your work and take feedback gracefully
— Based in Fort Worth or ready to be — minimum 24–29 hours per week, in-office at $12/hour
WHAT WE OFFER
— Paid internship at $12/hour
— Real design work on real brands — the kind you’ll actually want in your portfolio
— Hands-on experience across digital and traditional media, from concept through production
— Close collaboration with art directors, copywriters, strategists, and account leads
— A Fort Worth office built for the way creatives actually work — an in-house prop library, a wardrobe vault, a studio at your fingertips, and three coffee makers (we take all three seriously)
— A team that celebrates wins, supports each other through the hard stuff, and laughs a lot
OUR CULTURE
We don’t believe culture is ping-pong tables or free snacks (though we’re not mad about snacks). Culture is how we show up for each other, how we think about the work, and how we treat the brands
that trust us with theirs.
Some days are heads-down and deadline-driven. Others are loud, collaborative, and full of ideas flying across the room. We make space for both. We celebrate wins. We support each other through the hard stuff. We laugh a lot. Sometimes at inappropriate times. It’s fine. We’re professionals who know every day is better working together.
