Motion Design Intern – Spring 2027
The Role:
Content is the heart of everything we do. We’ve revolutionized the agency model to meet the modern need for agile, dynamic content creation — and motion is a big part of how we deliver it.
The Motion Design Intern will design and animate for a variety of digital projects and video content assignments, including social feed content, sizzle reels, and other branded experiences. You’ll have the opportunity to partner with our art directors, content creators, photographers, videographers, and set stylists to produce content that’s on brand and on strategy — without creative compromise.
2D motion design knowledge, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
You’ll report to our Vice President of Interactive Media and/or their appointees.
Brands We Work With:
WHAT YOU’D DO
— Design and animate — motion graphics for digital and social, working alongside creative directors,
art directors, copywriters, and other motion designers.
— Build for platform — creating content sized and optimized for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and
wherever the work needs to live.
— Adapt and revise — updating existing graphics and motion assets to meet new requirements
without losing the original intent.
— Own your files — following department file structures, naming conventions, and processes so
nothing gets lost in the handoff.
— Deliver on time — ensuring all work is accurate, on schedule, and routed through the right
departments for approval.
— Storyboard ideas — translating concepts into clear visual plans before a single frame gets
animated.
WHAT YOUR WEEK ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
— Animating social content for multiple brands — each with its own look, feel, and platform
requirements
— Collaborating with art directors and copywriters from brief through final delivery
— Revising and adapting existing assets quickly when clients or strategy shifts
— Building storyboards to pitch motion concepts before diving into production
— Routing deliverables through review and keeping things moving on deadline
— Learning new tools and techniques — Cinema 4D, Redshift, sound design — as projects call for
them

— Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
— Cinema 4D and Redshift and knowledge is required — basic video editing and sound design too

— Comfortable taking art direction and willing to learn new skills and software on the fly
— Able to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work independently when needed
— Open-minded, positive, and collaborative across disciplines
— You have some personality. Otherwise AI will take all our jobs.

WHAT WE OFFER
— Paid internship at $12/hour
— Real motion work on real brands — the kind that actually moves and the kind you’ll want in your
portfolio
— Hands-on experience across social, digital, and branded video content from concept through
delivery
— Close collaboration with art directors, videographers, photographers, and creative directors
— A Fort Worth office built for the way creatives actually work — an in-house prop library, a wardrobe
vault, a studio at your fingertips, and three coffee makers (we take all three seriously)
— A team that celebrates wins, supports each other through the hard stuff, and laughs a lot
OUR CULTURE
We don’t believe culture is ping-pong tables or free snacks (though we’re not mad about snacks).
Culture is how we show up for each other, how we think about the work, and how we treat the brands
that trust us with theirs.
Some days are heads-down and deadline-driven. Others are loud, collaborative, and full of ideas flying
across the room. We make space for both. We celebrate wins. We support each other through the hard
stuff. We laugh a lot. Sometimes at inappropriate times. It’s fine. We’re professionals who know every
day is better working together.
